Altech Welder Services was founded in 1987 by Kevin Thompson, beginning as a dedicated repair service for welding machines and systems in the steel fabrication industry. From 1987 to 1993 the company focused on welding system repair, earning a strong reputation for technical expertise, reliability, and keeping fabrication shops productive.
From 1993 onward, Altech expanded into control systems, automation, and process equipment. The company’s work grew beyond repair to include modification, installation, and retrofitting of complex systems to meet the changing demands of modern industry.
